M&R on behalf of Rimu Forestland Ltd (RFL) are able to supply redwood treestocks for the 2026 planting season.

Rimu Forestland Limited (RFL) has acquired the redwood IP and nursery supply agreements from The New Zealand Redwood Company.

RFL will continue to offer high quality clonal redwood trees for sale.

RFL has clonal varieties selected for growth, form, disease resistance, low incidence of epicormic sprouting and wood properties.

These clonal varieties have been tested in trials and are known to perform well in a number of important criteria.

RFL employs a tissue culture propagation system. Multiplication of the chosen variety by micro-cuttings is performed in a sterile lab with strictly controlled light and temperature regimes.

Plantlets the size of a match stick are transferred to the nursery where they are grown in containers for 12 to 24 months to reach a size suitable for afforestation.

Orders are being taken for 2026 planting and secured by deposit of $1.50 per seedling.
